From live music and tractor pulls to homemade pies and LEGO sculptures, this beloved tradition offers something for everyone. Whether you’re exploring the Exhibit Hall or cheering on contestants at the Fair Queen crowning, it’s a great way to experience the spirit of southwest Missouri.
What to Expect:
Live Entertainment & Events
- Friday kicks off with the Fair Queen crowning and a garden tractor pull—plus live music from local favorites like Grass Stain.
- Saturday brings a full lineup including the Beef Cattle Show, a hometown parade, and the always-popular Truck & Tractor Pull.
- Cap it off with the Cake Walk and live sets from High Class Vagabonds and The Brad Price Duo.
🎨 Local Exhibits
Explore the Exhibit Hall, where locals of all ages showcase everything from hand-sewn quilts and paintings to homegrown produce and canned goods. Be sure to cast your vote in the first-ever People’s Choice Awards before 4:00 pm Saturday!

👑 Fair Queen Tradition
This long-standing tradition celebrates student leaders from Billings High School. Each candidate dedicates her summer to raising funds and sharing how her school activities have made an impact—culminating in a judged essay and interview.
🎖 Grand Marshal Spotlight
This year’s parade honors Alby Bos, a lifelong Billings resident, teacher, farmer, and community leader whose legacy continues to shape the town he loves.
🧒 Kid-Friendly Highlights
- Pee-Wee Division just for ages 5 & under—think Play-Doh sculptures, decorated cookies, and sticker collages!
- Youth Exhibits for ages 6–12 include LEGO creations, artwork, baked treats, and more.
