Rainbow trout are a favorite among anglers for their colorful appearance and lively fight on the line. They’re known for the distinctive pinkish stripe along their sides and their tendency to jump when hooked.
Rainbow trout also have a mild flavor, making them a popular fish to take home for cooking or smoking.
